# Second (DateTime)

| Description | Returns a value between 0 and 59 representing the second part of the specified date time value. |

**Example**

In this example, we will pass a date time value to the function transformation object using a *Variables* object.

Where,

*dateTime* = 11/12/2013 2:20:15 PM
