The previous article covered how tags can be associated with data assets in the resource catalog.
Now, we will look at how assets can be further enriched with the help of a business title and descriptions.
In the data asset overview page, click on the edit icon next to Add a Business Title.
Provide an appropriate Business Title and save it. The business title will be added to the data asset.
Next, click on the edit icon next to Description.
Type in your required description and save it.
It will now be added to the data asset.
Once all the details under the summary panel are added, you can further modify the asset by providing column descriptions under the column panel.
Additionally, you can leverage our AI feature, Astera’s NorthStar, and have the asset ready with a few clicks.
Click on the AI icon and have the entire asset enriched for you.
Note: The generated inputs are not added to the asset directly and must be applied by the user.
Clicking on Apply updates the data asset.
