Compute All

In this document, you’ll learn how to use the Compute All function in Astera Dataprep to apply an expression across all fields in your dataset.

1. To begin, click on the Cleanse option in the toolbar and select Compute All from the drop-down.

1. This will open the Recipe Configuration – Compute panel.

1. Click on the button to open the Expression Builder window.

1. In this example, we have mapped a regular expression to the “$FieldValue” parameter.

1. Click OK and the expression will appear in the Recipe Configuration – Compute panel.

1. Once you’re done, click Apply. In the Grid, you’ll see that all white spaces in every field have been replaced with single spaces.
