# Installing Client and Server Applications

In this section we will discuss how to install and configure Astera Server and Client applications.

### How to install Astera Server

1. Run ‘IntegrationServer.exe’ from the installation package to start the server installation setup.
2. Astera Software License Agreement window will appear. To continue, check *I agree to the license terms and conditions* checkbox, then click *Install*.

**Note:** You can select *Options* to change the default installation directory and server port.

3. The server installation will now begin.

4. Your server installation has been successfully completed, click *Close* to complete.

### How to install Astera Client

1. Run the *‘CenterpriseDataIntegrator’* application from the installation package to start the client installation setup.
2. Astera Software License Agreement window will appear. To continue, check *I agree to the license terms and conditions* checkbox, then click *Install*.

4. Your client installation has been successfully completed, click *Close* to complete.
