# Quarter (DateTimeOffset)

| Purpose     | To return the calendar quarter of a provided date time offset value.            |
| Description | Returns calendar quarter for the specified date time offset value.              |
| Return Type | Int32                                                                           |
| Parameter   | dateTime \[System.DateTimeOffset] – Date for which the quarter will be returned |

**Example**

In this example, we will pass a date time offset value to the function transformation object using a *Variables* object.

Where,

*dateTime* = 02/03/2020
