Second (DateTime)

Name	Second
Syntax	Second (Date dateTime)
Purpose	To return the second part of the specified date time value.
Description	Returns a value between 0 and 59 representing the second part of the specified date time value.
Return Type	Int64
Parameter	dateTime [System.DateTime] – Date for which the second will be returned

Example

In this example, we will pass a date time value to the function transformation object using a Variables object.

Where,

dateTime = 11/12/2013 2:20:15 PM

In the output window, you can see that the second part of the provided date time value has been returned.
