# JulianToDate (String julianDate)

| **Name**    | ***JulianToDate***                                                              |
| ----------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Syntax      | JulianToDate (String julianDate)                                                |
| Purpose     | To convert the given Julian date string to a date time value.                   |
| Description | Converts the specified Julian date string into a DateTime value.                |
| Return Type | DateTime                                                                        |
| Parameter   | julianDate \[System.String] – String Julian date to be converted into Date time |

**Example**

In this example, we will pass a Julian date string to the function transformation object using a *Variables* object.

Where,

*julianDate* = 2356765
