Soundex

Name	Soundex
Syntax	Soundex (String str)
Purpose	To return Soundex value.
Description	Returns Soundex value for the given string. Soundex is a phonetic algorithm used for indexing words based on their English pronunciation.
Return Type	String
Parameters	str [System.String] – String for which Soundex is returned.

Example

In this example, we are passing a string value to the function transformation object using a Variables object.

Where,

str = Hello World

In the output window, you can see that the Soundex value of the specified string has been returned.
